CLUEsters are deep in their studies of Petrology and Cryptology. Primary CLUE students went on a rock hunt around the school. They have been testing their rocks for hardness and examining them for luster, cleavage, and color. They have completed their first cryptoquiz using logic and patterns to break the code.
Intermediate CLUE students are reading “The Gold Bug” by Edgar Allan Poe and learning different ways to create and decipher codes. They have completed two writing activities on what they're reading in "The Gold Bug." The first is a pig pen code sentence writing about the plot. The second used invisible writing to compare and contrast the two main characters. Check them out in the CLUE room!
